Last Blog

Well I guess this is the last blog that I have to do for this semester. I first of all would like to say GOOD LUCK, to everyone. I hope that you all have a great summer.

Well I thought that I wouldn't be happier to see the end of this semester, but I was wrong. Now I am completely spooked. I have emailed a teacher of mine twice now about a question that I have. Well, I have yet to get a response. So now I have no idea if I am even close to passing my math class. I have finally got all my homework done and only have the final left, but I do not know if I will be able to get a grade high enough to pass. Mainly because my teacher will not respond to my emails.

I understand that the teachers are busy, but after three weeks I would of thought that he would of answered me something. A simple yes or no would work. Do I sound like I am being unreasonable? I would like to know if I am.

I will just be glad when the final is over and I know if I can continue on next semester. That way maybe then I can get a response from the teacher on if I passed or not!!

Well anyway the best of luck to all who are dealing with finals this week. Have a great summer.
See you all around!!!

Oh yeah and last but not least thank you to Mrs. Chism for answering our emails even when they are petty :) Thank you.

My Crazy Life

Well another week has come to a close. So let me tell you I am worn out. Here is what I am facing now.

Two of my boys are playing baseball this season. Which I think is great! But the running nonstop and studying for finals is crazy!!!! They both had their first game on Monday one started at 7 then other at 7:45. I missed them both because while they were playing their first games I had to study for a History quiz. So I sat in the car and studied while my husband got to try and watch two games at the same time. Which was sad that I missed it but I got an 80% on my history quiz so good that I studied.

Well as you may recall the two that are playing baseball are the same two that are in boy scouts and cub scouts. So before the game Monday we had to take the youngest one to cub scouts to have his picture taken for the paper and to find out what he would be missing because his meetings are on Mondays. Anyway, made it through Monday then Tuesday thankfully nothing was going on other than Math homework. So there went Tuesday. Then Wednesday, the other one had boy scouts so we had to take him to the middle of no where because they were meeting there to pick up trash. Good for the kids!! Great for the environment. Well to make matters worse Wednesday I came done with a major ear infection, nothing new get them all the time, but this time my ear was bleeding. Ouch!!!

Then Thursday gets here, another baseball game didn't feel good at all but I got to watch the game and it was fun, their team won 15 to 6. It was almost 10 when we got home. (The first time I got to go home since I left for work at 7 that morning, so I was ready to be home.)

Then today Friday gets here, and thankfully the office was closed today, but still had to be up to take the kids to school. Then I had to run my mom on errands, didn't get home until after 3:30. Then of course starting to relax and bam, time for another baseball game. It was so cold with the wind blowing, and of course my ear is still painfully there, so it was hard to sit there in the wind, but I must say I would do it all over again to watch my boys play there baseball games.

Now I know that some people are probably thinking that I am crazy, for doing all this but what they may not understand is that it makes my kids happy to be doing all this so that makes it all worth it. This my friends is why you should finish school then have kids. It makes for a crazy life if you don't. But worth every bit of it for me!!

12-year-old Killer

In Detroit a jury has found a 13-year-old boy guilty of murder, armed robbery, felony armed robbery and curfew violation. The little boy Demarco Harris was 12 when he attempted to rob 24-year-old Trisha Babcock. She was sitting in her car when Harris attempted to rob her at gun point when he shot her in the chest.

This was Harris' second trial the first one in January ended in a hung jury. This time he has been found guilty. The prosecutor has said that they do not know what type of sentencing they will be asking for. They have two options they can ask for him to be sentenced as a juvenile or they can try him as an adult. They said they will not announce that until they go in for sentencing.

Babcock's dad was at the trial and stated that he, "cried like a baby." He also stated, "everyone knew he was guilty." He said that, "he feels like the best thing would be a life for a life, but that they do not have the death sentence in Detroit."

What I do not understand is what this 12-year-old was thinking? He was only 12 when he murdered a 24 year old women. Why was he trying to rob someone and where was his parents?

I feel that he must have something wrong with him mentally to be thinking of murder at the age of 12. Hopefully he will get the help that he needs while spending his life in prison. At least that is what I feel that he should have is life in prison without the possibility of parole.

(I was completely shocked when I Googled 12-year-old killer it brought up a ton of them so the second two websites that I pasted to this one are of other stories about killer kids. The first one will take you to the web site for this story.)
