Russia Furious Over Boy Adopted

Moscow- Russian adoptive services are furious and have threaten to put a hold on all U.S adoptions. Thursday a 7-year-old boy was put on a plane alone with a letter from his adoptive mother, stating that the boy has major psychological problems. The mother Torri Hansen, had adopted this little boy and decided a few months later not to keep him.

The mother and grandmother stated that the boy had threatened to burn down the home with them in it. Russia and other US adoption agencies are saying that people do this a lot because they do no realize the emotional toll that these children have been through.

Russia is currently saying that they will only allow adoptions if the US will sign a treaty sating that they can prosecute families that are doing these things.

Apparently in 2006 a lady named Peggy was sentenced to 25 years for killing her 2-year-old adopted daughter. Then in 2008 a lady named Kimberly was sentenced to 15 years for killing a Russian infant that was placed with her. Then in March of this year a couple supposedly killed there 7-year-old adopted child from where, Russia. So we can all tell why Russia is wanting a treaty signed by them and the US.

When I seen this story I was shocked to say the least. Why are these people killing these children? What is wrong with people. They must be insane. If the children were that much of a problem then give them up do not kill a child. That is crazy. I feel that if you are going to adopt a child then it is the same as having one, you are responsible for that child forever. That is your child, if you adopt them then yo need to be prepared for the possibility of the problems. Everyone should know that these children have been through HELL they need someone to love them through the tantrums.
