Update on Health

Well, here is the final update on the mammogram. I received my results Tuesday at work. It is excess breast tissue. This is a good thing. The report states that if it continues to be painful I should have surgery to have it removed. My doctor and I have decided that it would be best to wait and see if it continues to be painful. Rather than just jump into a major surgery.

This was the best news that I have heard in a long time. I don't think I have ever held my breath so hard as I did when he told me he had the report. I didn't realize how scared I really was. That was horrible!!!

I want to say thank you again very much for all of you who prayed. There are not words that can express the thanks that you deserve. So again thank you....

I am very thankful that it was not anything major. This news is a big blessing for me. I had actually thought what will I tell my four children if it comes back as cancer. That was the hardest thing that I have ever thought that I might have to tell my children. (My kids still do not know that there was ever a problem.) I never told them anything. I didn't want to scare them. Especially my step son. His mom always tells him things that he doesn't need to know.

Well, I do not what to go on about the same things and repeating myself so again thank you for your prayers.

  1. That is so great!! I'm so glad that you are going to be okay. When I told my wife about your post she told me "it doesn't sound like cancer because cancer is rarely painful at the site." Usually it's a small non-painful lump. So that is great news! Congratulations!
